How come my periods are never on the same date every month?

Hi,Im 19 years old and for the last six months my periods are never on the same date every month. Is that normal, Im always like 1-2 weeks in difference of the date. Why is that. Im not sexually active so I know im not pregnant. I do get periods every month, but its never like clock work, and everyone else that I know has their period every month, on the exact same day. Thanks for the help!

Only 10 percent of mensturating American women have a regular period, it could have a lot to do with diet, weight, hormones, or even heredity. I know mine quit being very regular after I had my first baby and I gained some weight, but also my hormones changed a lot. Dont worry, you’re normal:)
