How many A-levels do you need to get into University?

I want to do computer engineering at university, how many a-levels would i need, or would a maths a-level be enough?

I really don’t think so, even at the worst universities – even if you got an A that would only be 120 ucas points & every university course I’ve looked at require at least 180 – 200, even for the very easiest courses at the worst unis. Most require more like 240 – 280, or 300 – 340 for better courses/ unis. If you are only academically capable of getting one A level then reconsider university as it may be too hard for you. If there is some other reason you don’t have enough A levels then sign on to college and get a couple more – you won’t be able to go to university until next year anyway, so use this year to boost your qualifications – many colleges offer one year A level courses, with evening classes often available. If you are a mature student then look into Access courses, but whatever you do, hurry, as the academic year starts about now.
